What Causes Light Leakage?
When multiple linear light sections are joined together, gaps between the aluminum profile and the diffuser cover can appear. These gaps allow light to escape sideways, creating uneven bright spots and spoiling the clean, seamless look.
The most common leakage points are at joints between sections, end caps, Ve corners where the profile is cut at an angle.

Step 1: Identify the Leakage Point
Locate exactly where light is escaping. Common spots: joints between profile sections, end cap seams, and mitered corners. Clean the area thoroughly before applying any sealant.
Step 2: Apply Translucent Silicone Glue
Fill the gap with translucent white silicone glue. This material diffuses light while sealing the gap — unlike opaque glue which would block light entirely. Apply a continuous bead along the entire gap.

Use your finger (or a plastic smoothing tool) to spread the glue evenly and remove excess. This ensures a clean, uniform finish and pushes the glue deep into the gap for a proper seal.

Allow the silicone to cure fully (typically 24 hours). The result: no more light leakage, a seamless appearance, and a professional finish that matches the rest of the installation.
