Quality of the aluminum alloy

Cheaper profiles use low-grade alloys that perform poorly in strength, durability, and heat dissipation, which can shorten LED life.
Type of anodizing finish
Anodizing passes electricity through an electrolytic solution to form a protective oxide coating on the surface. A proper anodized finish resists scratching and corrosion far better than paint. Lower-quality profiles often use thin or uneven anodizing that wears off quickly.

U-Shape (Channel)

T-Shape (T-Grid)
Designed to fit into suspended ceiling T-bars. Ideal for offices, retail, and hospitality where you want hidden linear lighting integrated into a standard grid ceiling.
L-Shape (Corner)
Right-angle profile that mounts in corners, casting light in two directions. Great for wall-wash effects and cove lighting where you want light on both surfaces.
I-Shape (Flush / Flat)
A flat, low-profile extrusion that sits nearly flush with the surface. Good for under-cabinet and furniture applications where height is limited.
