What Is an LED Linear Light?
An LED linear light is a lighting fixture made from three core components: an Fita LED source, an perfil de alumínio housing, and an LED driver power supply. Similar in form to a traditional fluorescent tube, but far more energy-efficient and versatile, it has become one of the most popular lighting systems in modern architecture.
Key Specifications
- Lengths: Customizable — standard sizes include 4ft, 6ft, and 8ft for commercial fixtures
- Waterproof: Indoor and outdoor options available, including IP65 waterproof versions
- Profile colors: White, silver, and black anodized or powder-coated finishes
- Instalação: Surface-mounted, recessed, or pendant — three primary mounting methods
- Variedade: Lightstec offers 100+ different linear light designs
Métodos de instalação
- Montado em superfície — montagem direta em paredes ou tetos, sem necessidade de recesso
- Recesso — flush fit into ceiling or wall for seamless architectural look
- Pingente — suspended from ceiling for modern feature lighting
Dica profissional: For runs over 5 meters, use DC24V strips and inject power at both ends to prevent voltage drop. Always choose a driver rated 20% above the total strip wattage.
