2. LED Strip Light Can Be Used for Lighting the TV
Backlight behind the TV reduces eye strain and adds an ambient glow to your living room. Choose a remote RGB controller to match the light color with the content on screen.
Fix the strip on the back edge of the TV, about 3–5 cm away from the wall, with the LEDs facing outward. This bias lighting improves perceived contrast, so dark movie scenes look deeper and your eyes feel less tired during long viewing.
An RGB controller with remote lets you switch colors instantly, or set a music-sync mode to make the glow pulse with games and movies. Because the back of a TV can get warm, avoid fully enclosed mounting and let the strip breathe.

Mount the strip near the front edge of the upper cabinet so it lights the countertop, not the wall behind it. A 4000K neutral white is the best all-round color for food preparation, while 3000K suits open-plan dining and breakfast zones.
